STUDENT WELFARE PROGRAM

The student welfare program is an initiative that equips high school age students and provides ‘hands-on’ assistance to overcome low self esteem, build resilience and build confidence in our local teenagers. These problems often manifest themselves in risk taking behaviour and poor decision making, including bullying, drugs and alcohol abuse, depression, violence and age-inappropriate sexual experiences.

Working with Georges River College, this program promotes positive self image and strength in decision making, whilst offering support and encouragement during times of significant strain and pressure, with the issues that teenagers are experiencing.
