MISSION

Loving, living and revealing Jesus beyond the Georges River…

OUR VISION

Our vision as a church is to grow disciple-making communities along the Georges River and beyond, revealing the love and life of Jesus for today, impacting thousands of lives for eternity.

As part of this vision, we partner with other disciple-makers both within Australia and overseas. We support these communities through personal visits (when possible), prayer and finances. Our financial support is raised through the annual Mission Month Appeal in May each year.

GUS & AUDREY CHAN – TAIWAN

Less than 1% of Taiwan’s 15 million working class people know Jesus and most working-class and marginalised people do not easily fit into existing churches. Audrey and Gus partner with local Christians and hope to see reproducing communities of disciples among marginalised women and rural working class people.

HIGH SCHOOL SCRIPTURE

Georges River Life Church financially supports the teaching of scripture at three high schools: Peakhurst High School (years 7-10), Moorebank High School, and high schools around Fairfield. Sharing the gospel of Christ amongst students in these schools week in and week out is such an important, strategic and wonderful opportunity that our church is involved with.

PARTNER VISIT TRIPS

Our commitment to our international partners is not simply financial. Despite the advantages of modern communication, there is still no substitute for sharing a meal and personal experiences. Our aim is to provide opportunities for our people to visit our partners and gain a greater insight into their environment and the vital work that they do.
