Café Connect is a weekly social café offering free tea, coffee, snacks, and a warm, welcomingspace for individuals and families. It operates alongside our food relief service, allowing people torest, chat, and build relationships while they access support. This service is available weekly atour centre in Peakhurst and fortnightly at Moorebank Community Centre.Back-to-Work Pathway: Café Connect employs clients as part of a supported employment initiative, providing hands-on training and restoring confidence in those re-entering the workforce. Safe and Inclusive Environment: We’ve created a space that feels like home—offering dignity, respect, and community for those facing hardship or social isolation.Strong Participation: Since launching in late 2024, Café Connect has consistently welcomed upto 30 guests each week, with regular volunteers providing continuity and care.Together, Café Connect and Community Connect extend the impact of our Community Relief services—moving beyond crisis response to foster belonging, empowerment, and restored dignity.
