Growing kids and families to be radical disciples of Jesus who live extraordinary lives of love

At the heart of River Kids, our children’s ministry at GRLC, is the belief that no one is too young to experience God’s love and there is no such thing as the junior Holy Spirit.

As a ministry, we seek to partner with parents to empower this next generation of Jesus followers to be the loving and Spirit-filled disciples God calls us to be. Our kids are not just the leaders of the future church, but are members of our church today. Because of this, they deserve our time and value to allow them to experience and respond to God’s love now, as well as be included in what He is doing in our wider church family and world.

River Kids is for children aged 12 months old to Year 8 at high school and meet during church every Sunday from 10am. Our 1-2 years olds and preschoolers meet as separate classes. Our school aged kids begin as a large group before splitting into small groups (PODs) based on school year and gender. For more information contact Sophie Wheeler

Playgroup offers a great opportunity for kids, parents and carers to connect.

Playgroup happens Tuesdays and Thursdays during school term from 10am to 12noon.  Story time, craft, music and singing, free play and morning tea make Playgroup a hit with the kids but just as significant is the welcoming, friendly environment that parents and carers experience when they come.  For more information contact Sophie Wheeler.

Kids Games is our massive kids holiday program which runs the second week of the October school holidays each year at Georges River Life Centre.
