BEYOND THE GEORGES RIVER
Our vision as a church is to grow disciple-making communities growing along the Georges River and beyond revealing the love and life of Jesus for today impacting thousands of lives for eternity.
As part of this vision we partner with other disciple makers both within Australia and overseas. We support these communities through personal visits (when possible), prayer and finance. Our financial support is raised through the annual Mission Month Appeal in May each year.

SUNSHINE HOSTEL & LEBC
The Sunshine Hostel, run by the the Lahu Evangelical Baptist Convention (LEBC), provides the opportunity for ethnic minority Lahu children from remote villages to live in Chiang Mai and receive a better education. GRLC partners with the LECB to support the hostel and secure a better future for the Lahu.

Both families focus on building relationships with their local community through English teaching in government schools; participating in community events; having an open house and sharing their lives with the local people.

GUS & AUDREY CHAN – TAIWAN
Less than 1% of Taiwan’s 15 million working class people know Jesus and most working-class and marginalised people do not easily fit into existing churches. Audrey and Gus partner with local Christians and hope to see reproducing communities of disciples among marginalised women and rural working class people.
HIGH SCHOOL SCRIPTURE

OPEN DOORS
An organisation whose mission is to strengthen and prepare Christians throughout the world who are living in persecution, and to mobilise the Australian church to identify with the global body of Christ.

SHORT TERM TEAMS
Our commitment to our international partners is not simply financial. Despite the advantages of modern communication there is still no substitute for sharing food and personal experiences. Our aim (post Covid) is to provide opportunities for our people to visit our partners and gain a greater insight into their environment and the important work that they do.

ZOE
Zoe Thailand works in prevention, rescue and rehabilitation of children affected by child trafficking. They work in collaboration with, and are highly respected by, the local Thai authorities. Supporting the work of Zoe provides benefits which extend beyond rescued children, as they are committed to awareness raising, training and eliminating vulnerability.

BAPTIST WORLD AID
Working towards a world where poverty has ended and all people enjoy the fullness of life that God intended.
